Teaching Work
After a decade in the entertainment industry, I gained invaluable hands-on experience that continues to shape how I teach today. Since moving to the DMV area, I’ve taught sewing at Stitch Sew Shop and led private lessons, intensives, and studio sessions for students of all levels.

What began as seasonal work quickly grew into a passion—especially mentoring high school seniors on college portfolios. Many came for help with sewing, but stayed for guidance on layout, presentation, and drawing. That demand inspired a new path: one-on-one mentorship for students pursuing creative and academic goals.

Arts Educator

Today, I work with students of all ages, offering:

-
Private and small group instruction in sewing, fashion design, and costume design
-
One-on-one portfolio coaching for students applying to art and design schools
-
Collaborative workshops with schools, camps, and arts programs

Whether I’m teaching a curious beginner, a high school senior building their portfolio, or an adult returning to a long-lost creative practice—I love helping students discover the power of sewing.
