WELCOME.
HELLO!
Anya Peregrino is a half American, half South African Costumer and Wardrobe Technician. Her breadth of work varies from theatre, film & television, and fashion houses.
Being raised South African-American in the United States, United Arab Emirates, and Kenya paved the way for success in the entertainment industry. With a mediocre sewing ability and a passion for art in 2016 through mutual friends she earned the opportunity of a lifetime, a fashion apprenticeship at Essa Walla's Atelier in Dubai.
From there, Anya would go on to intern for La Perle, one of the first stationary shows of its kind in the Middle East learning everything there is to know about cirque life solidifying her track towards costume design.
She is a graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design completing her B.F.A (Bachelor of Fine Arts) in production design with a concentration in costume design. While living in Savannah, Anya worked on; The Menu, Halloween Ends, Apple TV’s Manhunt, Fly Me To The Moon, and many other feature films as both a Costumer and lighting Fixtures Technician.
Now based out of the Washington D.C. area, Anya is excited to be touring with Kennedy Center Theater for Young Audiences as Head of Wardrobe and Props for the second time on this year's National Tour.
